This year K Webster is breaking all the rules and redefining dark romance with her latest releases, Dirty Ugly Toy and This is War, Baby. As soon as my fellow nympho, LeTeisha, and I finished Dirty Ugly Toy last month and saw that K was releasing This is War, Baby, I knew we had to read it since it sounded like a book that was right up our alley.

If you thought Dirty Ugly Toy was dirty and twisted, just wait until you get your hands on this one. Darker than Dirty Ugly Toy, K Webster will have you cringing and blushing throughout the entirety of This is War, Baby. While not for the faint of heart, this book is perfect for those who crave dark romances as much as we do here at Lust Bites and is sure to take you through a whirlwind of emotions.

Bailee, an innocent teenage girl is content with her life. A popular girl who loves her high school boyfriend, Bailee is abducted by someone who both her and her parents have trusted.

Gabe, the man who abducts Bailee is malicious. Kidnapping young women to train them and sell them to the highest bidder, Gabe has set his sights on Bailee because of her innocence.

Bailee will do whatever it takes to survive Gabe’s madness while Gabe does depraved things to her in the name of training her for who will buy her. Gabe gets off on breaking Bailee piece by piece although he claims to love her.

Although the plot seems familiar with it’s kidnapping and sex slave premise, it is so much more than that. As Bailee is sold to the highest bidder, another character comes into play. While flawed and damaged, this man is not who you expect to be a hero, yet this tortured character intrigued us and made us want to know who this mysterious man is.

Ending on a cliffhanger, K Webster has once again made these nymphos crave for more! Luckily for us This is Love, Baby releases March 29th!
